December 10th, 2016

The Parkland College Men’s Basketball team raced out to a 10-2 lead Saturday and trailed just once all afternoon, as they stunned previously unbeaten and #1 Triton 80-70.   The win moves the Cobras to (8-3) on the season while Trojans drop to (11-1).  Triton finished 2nd in last year’s National Tournament and beat the Cobras 66-48 in the second round after beating them by six in the regular season.

Olson came off the bench to lead the Cobras with 19 points as he was a perfect 5-5 from behind the arc and 4-4 at the line.
