Parkland Sweeps DH In Home Opener

Game 2: 

The Loggers jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 2nd but with one out  in the bottom of the inning, Nick Wisz tied it with a solo shot down the right field line. It was Wisz’s second home run of the season. PC would break the tie in the third as Damian Pierce delivered a clutch two-run single to put the Cobras up 3-1. Tyler Paulsen’s solo home run in the 4thmade it 4-1 and Paulsen would triple in the fifth and score on a Brendan Joyce single in the 5th. Luke Smith picked up the win as he allowed just one run on three hits in 5 innings of work.  Smith (2-1) battled the cold temperatures and tight zone to walk five and strike out eight on the afternoon. Jack Lambert picked up the save as he tossed two scoreless innings of relief, not allowing a hit while walking one and striking out one.
