• 88.7 FM, WPCD: Re-inventing Alternative

  88.7 WPCD is the educational, non-commercial broadcast radio station of Parkland College. 88.7 broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with an alternative rock format. The station covers much of East Central Illinois, including Danville, Decatur, Rantoul, Bloomington, and all of the Champaign-Urbana area while also streaming worldwide on the Internet.

Cobras Returning to NJCAA World Series!

Darin Worman fired 2 scoreless innings to finish off rival Heartland Community College to clinch a spot in the NJCAA World Series! Worman also finished off the Hawks in game one as his strong performance earned him the Region 24 Tournament MVP.  The Cobras will next play in Enid, Oklahoma on Saturday 5/29 at 4:00pm.  Cobrasports.net will be along for the ride, so be sure to check here for results.

   I am with greater enid young professionals we will be hosting parkland while in enid. We are excited to host the cobras, the defending champs for the second year!
